About Taylor Energy

James is a qualified electrician, CEC accredited solar designer and installer, and the Managing Director of Taylor Energy. He has been in the solar game since 2009 and is deeply passionate about the industry. Outside of work, he enjoys playing football, getting out on the boat and spending time with his family.

Daniel has been with Taylor Energy since we founded the business and is our longest serving employee. In fact, Daniel completed his entire apprenticeship with James, stretching right back to 2009. Daniel is our battery expert and one of the most knowledgeable heads in the solar game. Outside of work, Daniel can be found playing football or talking about football or watching football and spending time with his family.

Nikita organises bookings, deals with customer enquiries and oversees the general administration of the business not to mention keeps us all in check. Nikita came to us with 12 years of experience in the legal accounting sector and is now enjoying her new role in helping our business grow. On the weekends Nikita can be found spending time with friends and her son at the beach or skate parks.

Dylan started with Taylor Energy fresh out of school and has become one of our most reliable electricians. Dylan is a fun and friendly team member who is known for his outstanding customer service. Like his brother Daniel, Dylan can be found playing, watching, and talking about football. Dylan is an absolute gun on the football field gaining numerous awards.

Mitchell started with Taylor Energy in 2015. Mitch is a certified gun at his job. Mitch will have the roof done before smoko and it will be the neatest job you’ll find in Brisbane, then he might come down and do the switchboard and inverter too. Outside of work Mitch can be found beating the rest of the team at golf or hanging out with friends.

Jesse began his apprenticeship under a different company, so he brings with him some more knowledge and skills from other areas of the electrical industry. He is the first chosen if we are pre-wiring a house or doing an LED lighting fit-out. Outside of work, Jesse, like the Brents, can be found on the football field.

Corey  joined the company as an apprentice in March 2019. Corey is hardworking and motivated and has become a valued member of the team. When everyone else is taking a break Corey pushes through and is often referred to the company "Cyborg". On the weekends Corey can be found on the soccer field or outdoors four-wheel driving with friends.

Nick had come to us having already had some solar experience so was able to hit the ground running. He has a very positive attitude and is always looking for new and creative ways to help the business. Nick has quickly become a great asset to the team. On weekends Nick enjoys having a few drinks and watching the cricket to relax.

Lachlan is one of our most fun-loving and entertaining staff members. Lachlan is always willing to help be it out on site or in the office, no job is too difficult. Lachlan takes everything in his stride and always finds a way to make any issue a learning moment and strives to make an installation a happy experience for our customers. In Lachlan’s down time he enjoys having drinks with friends and playing video games.
